# Instructions for authors

## General information
|
|
|
- Research manuscripts must present original information in at least 75% of their content
|
|
|
- The length of this type of contributions should be between 5,000 and 7,000 words
|
|
|
- Thematic areas admitted:
|
|
|
- b) Energy, Electrical, Electronics, Computing and Telecommunications Engineering.
|
|
|
- e) Chemical, Materials and Metallurgical Engineering
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

# Manuscript preparation
|
|
|
## Authors’ information
|
|
|
|
|
|
- The authors' full names, complete affiliations (name of the laboratory, section, division, department, institution), along with city and country should be included.
|
|
|
- The corresponding author should be indicated in the manuscript and should be the same author submitting the manuscript.
|
|
|
- Author changes will not be permitted at later stages of the review process, so make sure the authors' list is final.
|
|
|
- No other information is needed at this stage.
|
|
|
|
|
|
## Manuscript information
|
|
|
- Papers must be submitted in PDF format or LaTeX saved as PDF (No other format is accepted).
|
|
|
- Authors should submit their manuscripts with a length between 5,000 and 7,000 words in a single column,
|
|
|
- with a 1.5-line spacing, in a single file with all the key sections included: Abstract (250–300 words); Key Words (5-7); main text: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and discussion, Conclusions; Acknowledgements, Funding Information and References.
|
|
|
- No journal-specific format is required at this stage to make the submission process easier for authors.
